
Colson Baker (born April 22 (born on April 22, 1990) is a popular American artist and rapper. The rapper is popularly known as Machine Gun Kelly (MGK), a songwriter, actor and performer. His dual genre of hip-hop and alternative rock is what made him famous. The mixtapes he released were four from 2007 through 2010, before signing with Bad Boy Records. His debut album called Lace Up (2012 and peaking at number 4 on the US Billboard 200), included the hit track "Wild Boy" featuring Waka Flocka Flam. General Admission (2015) and Bloom (2016) were both commercially successful. The latter featured the hit single "Bad Things" featuring Camila Cabello, which peaked at number 4 on Billboard's Hot 100. The fourth album, Hotel Diablo (2018) included rap rock. Machine Gun Kelly's fifth album Tickets to My Downfall was released in the year 2020. The album represented an abrupt departure from hip-hop and a move into the world of pop punk. It was a top-ranked album on Billboard 200 and was the only rock album to achieve that position. The hit single "My Ex's Best Friend" also made it to the top 20 of the Hot 100. He achieved similar commercial success with its follow up Mainstream Sellout (2022).Machine Gun Kelly had his first role as a lead in the romantic comedy Beyond the Lights (2014) In the following years, he was in the thriller based on a techno concept Nerve (2016) as well as the horror Bird Box (2018), the comedy Big Time Adolescence and played Tommy Lee in the biopic The Dirt (both 2019)
